Find this on the British Airways website, but check Iberia too before you transfer. Book the Iberia-operated flights and avoid British Airways-operated flights, so you do not pay huge taxes and fuel surcharges.

• Find the flights first, transfer your points second. Award space can vanish and transfers usually cannot be reversed.
• Search both British Airways and Iberia, confirm the seats, and compare the final Avios plus taxes before transferring.
