Rove is now on mobile
The Rove app is officially live on iOS, with a public Android beta open too. It brings Rove's earning and travel tools into one place, so you can track your Rove Miles, find earning opportunities, buy gift cards, browse participating restaurants, shop, book travel, and manage your account from your phone. Rove says the app will get more personalized over time, surfacing earning opportunities based on your interests and activity.

Rove Dining
Rove Dining lets you earn Rove Miles at thousands of participating restaurants. You link an eligible payment card to your Rove account, choose a participating restaurant, and pay normally with that card. Pending miles are added automatically and post within a week of the meal. No coupons, no activation, no promo codes, and no receipts to upload.
Rove Dining is launching in select cities first and will keep expanding nationwide with more restaurants and neighborhoods.

Instant-earning gift cards
Rove's new gift card marketplace lets you buy eligible gift cards from participating brands and get your Rove Miles instantly. It is a simple way to earn on purchases you were already going to make, and it solves a common problem: if you find an award flight but are a few miles short, you can buy an eligible gift card, get the miles right away, and use them toward the booking without waiting for other earnings to post. More brands and categories are on the way.

Rebuilt hotels and Loyalty Eligible rates
Rove Hotels got its biggest overhaul yet: stronger mile earning, tens of thousands of additional properties, and a major expansion of Loyalty Eligible rates. The booking experience is clearer too, with better room and property details, clearer bed configurations, and simpler cancellation and meal-plan choices. At eligible hotels you can add options like flexible cancellation, non-refundable pricing, breakfast, half board, full board, or all-inclusive to the same room instead of sorting through separate listings, and some selections carry higher Rove Miles multipliers.
The Loyalty Eligible expansion is the part worth understanding. These rates now cover around 99% of properties within eligible chains, and they let you earn Rove Miles while still qualifying for benefits from the hotel's own loyalty program. Depending on the property, rate, and program, that can include hotel points, elite-night credits, and status recognition. So instead of giving up your hotel loyalty benefits to earn portal miles, an eligible rate can let you earn both. Confirm the specific rate is marked Loyalty Eligible before you book.
Two smaller upgrades round it out. You can now see whether a room has king, queen, twin, or sofa beds before booking, and the app has a new AI feature that answers common questions about a property, like amenities, pet policies, on-site restaurants, and distance from the airport.
New extensions and in-store earning
Rove redesigned its browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, and mobile Safari through the iOS app. Instead of remembering to start at Rove before you shop, the extension can flag when you are on a participating retailer, show available earning, and apply coupons. The update adds thousands more stores and thousands more coupon codes.
Rove is also starting to move beyond online shopping with in-store earning. You will be able to earn Rove Miles at participating brick-and-mortar stores by paying with an eligible linked card, expanding to thousands of locations over time, with personalized higher-earning offers planned.
Ways to earn Rove Miles
Rove says hundreds of thousands of members have redeemed well over one billion Rove Miles in the past year, at more than double the average value of traditional credit card points. That is enough miles to put more than 100,000 people in the air round-trip.
How to use Rove Miles
Rove Miles book flights across more than 140 airlines and stays at hundreds of thousands of hotels, or transfer to select loyalty program partners. And you do not need a travel credit card to take part, which is the main thing that sets Rove apart.
