Bilt keeps adding ways to spend your points and Bilt Cash beyond rent. Two new partnerships, Equinox and Blade, now let you put your rewards toward spa days, workouts, and even helicopter rides.

New to Bilt? Bilt is a free loyalty program, and the points you earn can go toward travel. Earning is simple: create a free account, link a qualifying card to your Bilt account, and use it with Bilt's partners.

Better yet, you don't need to rent, own a home, or carry a Bilt card to be a member. Anyone can open a free rewards account, link their cards, and earn points every time they spend with a Bilt partner, including restaurants, Lyft rdes, pharmacies, fitness classes, and more.

Bilt Adds Equinox

Bilt and Equinox just launched a partnership, and Equinox is now built right into the Bilt app. You can join Equinox, manage a membership, browse clubs and classes, book spa appointments, and redeem Bilt Cash, all without leaving the app.

If you are new to Equinox and join through Bilt, you pick one bonus on top of Equinox's usual new-member perks:

10,000 Bilt points, or
a complimentary 60-minute personal training session, or
a complimentary 50-minute spa service

The bigger news is what you can now do with your Bilt Cash: redeem it for Equinox credit toward the spa, personal training, and Studio Pilates. How much you can convert depends on your Bilt status.

There are two redemption windows each year (January to June and July to December), and the credit expires at the end of its window.

A few things to know: Bilt Cash cannot be used for membership dues, retail, the juice bar, or the cafe, and Bilt points (as opposed to Bilt Cash) cannot be used here at all.

The catch is that to redeem Bilt Cash you need an active Equinox membership with your accounts linked. Non-members can still book a spa appointment through the app, they just cannot pay with Bilt Cash.

One angle savvy members are already testing: the Amex Platinum reimburses an Equinox+ digital subscription, so some are checking whether that counts as an active membership to unlock the Bilt Cash credit. It is unconfirmed, so treat it as an experiment for now.

Bilt and Blade

Bilt also turned on Bilt Cash for Blade helicopter rides. You can apply up to $350 of Bilt Cash toward one seat, twice per year, and earn 2x Bilt points on any Blade booking made with a linked card. Elite members get more: Silver and Gold get 10% off (Gold adds lounge access), and Platinum adds one free Blade flight per status qualification.

For now, Bilt Cash redemptions are live for New York only (the Manhattan heliports to and from JFK or Newark), with Nice and Monaco marked "coming soon."
